Reality of life through my lens
I am sorry for having kept you waiting. But now that I am back, you are going to love it. I just watched Sacred Games on Netflix. I watched both seasons and was amused and even surprised to some extent by having finished watching it completely. Earlier, I gave you references by watching the movie Gulaal. Most people wouldn't mind reading it until it's delivered directly to their email or feed on Instagram. But, this is important content because this is original, raw and unfiltered. This post is going to blow open your mind if you read it completely.
When I was in engineering college, I bought a book from Arihant titled "UPSC Assistant Commandant". I wasn't serious about anything for once, but had just gone through its contents. I don't know, but my hostel roommates started teasing me. I didn't like it one bit, but I never fell for these things. I just kept doing my thing without annoying anyone. There were times when I wouldn't mingle with anyone, and life is just like this. Coming from a remote town in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, India, my options were already limited.
When I started my first blog, I got so much feedback from different people. How much are you earning? I remember the first time I started my own YouTube channel, everyone started to think about how much this guy would be earning. But reality was altogether different. I wasn't even earning a single penny. Neither did I earn a single penny through YouTube, nor through writing. And the current situation is damn bad, I have lost all my savings. I know it's not wise to put it around here, but that's all I can do at this point.
My endeavour has always remained the same. To take the country to greater heights. My ambition is that every Indian should achieve a good status. Based on what I have learnt so far, I would like to share it with you all so that you too can become smart. I will summarise it in different numbers so that you can understand it properly.
1. Office politics is real. Just like diplomats and politicians crave votes and the majority of shares, every company has a hidden gimmick. If you can't understand anything and are just like me, there is no need to worry, but then your work has to be amazing. If you can't even understand office politics and your work performance is average, then you will be kicked out of everywhere.
2. Until and unless you ask for help, you won't get it. Asking for help is very much required. Humans are not animals. Humans have a mouth through which they speak. Speak up, and you shall receive what is deemed necessary. I never spoke openly and paid the price in every organisation I worked for.
3. Staying at a single organisation/place pays up rewards. Most people today are switching jobs rapidly. This doesn't work in the long run. You need to stay put in a single place/company and develop skills. After a certain timeframe, your job wouldn't tease or hurt you much, and everything just becomes effortless and smooth.
4. Life is a game. You will meet multiple people, but the true and real ones will bring out the best in you. Your company matters a lot, who you are friends with, what kind of songs you listen to, what kind of reels you watch in Instagram on your mobile phones, all of this has an impact on how people will perceive you and then, how you view yourself is how everyone around will treat you.
This must be it. But I shall tell you more. I have revealed everything you were supposed to know. Back then, when I travelled to multiple places, I just kept moving. I had never aimed for anything, and even today, I am sitting aimlessly. My dear readers/friends, life is fragile and short. One must aim for something and not stop until that aim/goal is achieved. Aimless boys aren't liked by women, and in society, clueless people are not respected.
This is something that you all need to understand. I have mentioned people's names and places where I have been, but everyone else deserves the right to privacy. Given the extent the internet has penetrated all of our lives, it's imperative that we all stay calm and normal. I truly believe that karma is real. Whatever you do, you get it back.
The real game changer is the mindset. If you can dream about it, you can achieve it. Until and unless you start today, today is everything, today is all you have, there's no tomorrow. You need to own your actions and decisions. No one should be made responsible for the shit that happened in your life. I have been trying to tell my parents and younger brother to change, but nothing happens out of it. If you want real change, you need to just put it all out.
If you are worried about something, just do it. Don't think much. Obviously, the things that you are aiming to carry out shouldn't cause trouble to people around you and should be such that the nation feels proud about them. I have been seeing someone's post on Instagram( that person went to Japan and feels great there). Once, an interviewer asked me a question( he was based out of Punjab but had acquired a significant position by god knows what means and was always accompanied by equally pleasing and attractive 3 ladies), he asked me what do you think of people who go abroad and leave India. I said, I consider it brain drain because these people finish everything in India and then move abroad without thinking about the country that gave them everything.
Now, it's 100% true that Kalyug has come. To reach Satyug, we must go through hell. Everyone will get destroyed, and then, probably, we might enter Satyug. In this age, everyone is thinking about their own well-being, and so, if we analyse it deeply, then everyone must realise that this is not a great thing to even wonder about. If someone is getting a better salary abroad, then they should just swing the bat and go for it. I don't know what's right or wrong, as I am not a preacher/teacher. But, hell, yeah, I love my country, India, and I would want people to work here and become good at everything in India.
This is the place where great ideas were born. India is the oldest civilisation in the world. We must respect its integrity. So, today, it's all gone to just Instagram reels and taking shots that please the crowd. Those who knew a little bit of programming or coding are working for MNCs like Microsoft, and those who didn't know coding are working as Tech Support Professionals in BPO offices or other profiles. While there are certainly many profiles that one can choose to enter without knowing the A-Z of any programming language, it hurts me so much to see that those who are proficient in coding are getting good pay packages and better salaries. But, then what do you expect? Product-based companies will always pay you for what you know. Service-based companies will always pay you less. But, I have seen that people from different backgrounds ( like MBA, BSC, BED, MBBS, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, BPharmacy) are also doing equally good and mind you, these professions don't require knowledge of programming.
So, everyone is just doing something, and it's working for them. So, you need not become a master of everything. And those who are preparing for the government. jobs, well, those people know the perks and benefits it brings along. I never thought or even imagined that I would aim for a private job( corporate world), but given the way things appeared in front of me, I have told myself that this is all I want( to do a private job and excel at it) because the majority of people aren't govt. Servants but corporate employees. So, it makes sense to carry out our tasks beautifully by believing in the right thing. And if you do get jealous of someone or something, that's because you are a human; it's just normal. If someone studied with you and did the same things as you did, everything would be similar. But, I would say, just accept whoever you are and keep enjoying life. The creator must have thought something about you. This article and all other articles featured in this blog post cater to people who haven't yet figured things out. If you have figured it all out, you can leave and say goodbye to us folks!
Thank you, guys.
Yours,
Aditya Singh Thakur
