HR Strategy

Hey lovely people. In today's post, I am going to share some insights about basic HR administration. Now, it all boils down to talent sourcing and recruiting. Sourcing is screening resumes/CV's, shortlisting suitable/appropriate profiles and recruiting is well( as the name itself suggests) making a candidate land a good job.

Now, I have personally been hired by many HR's in India. Each one simply focuses on getting the work done to get some incentives. The most crucial aspect in HR department is to build lifelong relationships. That way, you get referal by the selected employees. Nonetheless, it goes without saying that candidates trust recruiters more who have knowledge about the specific industry they are hiring for.

For whatsoever industry you are hiring, have the bare minimum knowledge so that the candidates applying feel comfortable around your aura and the environment feels like a safety net. Because in the beginning, a cold call is what it is. Cold call is something when an employer reaches out to potential candidates without having any knowledge whatsoever about the candidate. It's like firing without actually seeing the target. It's as if the target isn't visible and someone is shooting. Now, we want to become Arjuna( the lord of Kurukshetra battlefield). Now, obviously, you don't have a great mentor like Lord Krishna itself but it's about practise and treating people ( everyone included, especially waitresses, cleaners, sweepers) with kindness, dignity and respect.

The more you delve deeper, the more insights you get to extract. It's about patiently building relationships with the candidates. Yeah, so be patient and until next time, take care of yourselves.
